Andre Peters, born in 1958, graduated at the age of 23 from Hamburg University with a Diplom Kaufmann which is comparable with Master of Business Administration (MBA).

From 1983 – 1990 he held several managerial positions at Gruner+Jahr / Bertelsmann, including both national and international assignments in editorial offices such as STERN magazine, the publishing divisions like Media, TV, PR together with several technical projects.

Between 1990 and 1992 he was head of Comercial Administration at Berliner Verlag and contributed decisively to its reorganisation. In 1992 Andre took over the Comercial Management at DPV Deutscher Pressevertrieb at Gruner + Jahr Printing and Publishing. There he was responsible for International Logistics, Finance and IT. His remit was soon extended to encompass the sales division for newspapers and in 1998 he became deputy Managing Director charged with responsibility for all major projects at DPV. Under his supervision a new supply-chain logistic was established for Financial Times Germany, and was widely covered by the German press.

In 2000 Andre became Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Hamburg based Multimedia Company ABSOLUTE software, with responsibility for Marketing, Sales, Finance and Administration. He conceived and developed Hamburg MiniaTouren, which is known as the worldwide first photo-realistic 3D virtual model of a city to use as an online marketing and simulation platform.

In 2003, in addition to his role at ABSOLUTE, he became an advisor on national and international media companies in the Broadcasting, Print, Multimedia and IT sectors. In the same year he founded Andre Peters · Media Consulting. Right from the start Andre Peters · Media Consulting activities included business development for international clients like Soundmouse, Adelphoi Music, Kinetic Cubed (all from UK) or Music Genome (from Israel), and for German software and hardware developers such as NorCom, all4net, Cosynus, SMC-IT and Pironet NDH.

In order to expand his Media Consulting business Andre left the executive board of ABSOLUTE software at the beginning of 2006. Nowadays Andre has multiplicated the size of his Media Consulting, serving more than 70 clients and winning a new B2B-client nearly every month.
